A simple, marvelous speech of Shimon Peres to the youth of Israel. To many among my generation, his message will be refreshing and inspiring. Israel, despite it’s serious geographical limitations, is one of the most thriving economies in the world mainly because of their ability to innovate on science and technology. It’s the same basic principle applied in other nations such as Japan and the US. That core belief, that lacks ideological bias of any kind, is what makes nations not just good, but great.
The reason I’m posting this is because my father sent me this video by mail. The ability of that generation (Shimon’s and my dad’s) of bringing hope to the youngsters must never be lost.
